The village Remembrance events, organised by St Paul's Church and held on 13th November 2022, were well attended. Wreaths were laid on behalf of Landkey Parish Council by Cllr Richard Beer (r), on behalf of St Paul's Church by Peter Soper (c) and on behalf of the Cornish family by Julia Jenkins (l). Members of the public may ask questions at the start of the meeting.
All are welcome to join us as we celebrate the risen Jesus Christ, the most joyful time in the Christian calendar. Please note that this service will start at 10:00 am.

Landkey Easter egg hunt
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Great Landkey Easter Egg Hunt!! 🐣 Friends of Landkey School are hosting a Easter Egg trail on Monday 10th April! There will be a walk around the village with a map (this will be sent to you nearer time) with a chocolate egg to be collected at end of your walk If you would like to join, please pay £2.50 (per child) via our PayPal http://www.paypal.me/FriendsofLandkey (£2.50 = 1 egg) (on PayPal put as a gift, not services as this will incur fees) Put the childs name/s and Easter Egg Hunt in the notes and then at the end of the hunt your child will be able to collect an Easter Egg. Cakes will be available at the end of your walk for any donations to Friends of Landkey School which will be greatly appreciated. The last day to PayPal over the money will be 1st April. We will also be holding a colouring competition and prize for anyone who finds our golden egg too! We can’t wait to see you all! So tag your coming and remember to pay via PayPal otherwise you unfortunately are not booked in.
King Charles III is being crowned on May 6th, and on May 8th we celebrate thevisit of Charles II, as Prince of Wales, to Landkey. (We know mazzard pie is a great favourite of his).
For the full story you’ll need to attend the CORONATION CELEBRATION onLandkey Millennium Green on the Coronation Bank Holiday on 8th May. It will be a great party with stalls, games, treasure hunt, refreshments etc. Note the date, and if you’ve suggestions to help us make a memorable celebration please get in touch. This event is for the community and lots of Landkey organisations have voiced interest in participating on the day. We are in the process of further planning.
