The village Remembrance events, organised by St Paul's Church and held on 13th November 2022, were well attended. Wreaths were laid on behalf of Landkey Parish Council by Cllr Richard Beer (r), on behalf of St Paul's Church by Peter Soper (c) and on behalf of the Cornish family by Julia Jenkins (l). Julia is the niece of Charles Cornish whose name appears among those of the fallen on the war memorial. Image courtesy of Charles Waldron 14th November 2022.

Landkey Millennium Green could not exist without local people contributing with their time in different ways:
Our small team who cut the grass, empty the litter bins, maintain the trees and cut the hedges.
Our large team who patrol the Green every day of the year, picking up litter and checking for hazards. (There’s a rota, and most volunteers are allocated one or two weeks per year).
A new group who are helping with birdboxes.
Occasional Working Parties who undertake particular tasks.
Our trustees who meet several times each year to make policy and support the officers in ensuring the Trust is financially sound and that the Green is managed well.
Every now and again volunteers get together for a party!
