The Remembrance service and wreath-laying ceremony on Sunday 11th November 2018 were attended by many, possibly over 100, Landkey residents. The service and ceremony were both led by Chris James, clergy member of St Paul's Church, who was supported by many others associated with St Paul's Church and village organisations. Here, Chris (left) pauses before the Act of Remembrance began just before 11am, exactly 100 years after the signing of the Armistice in France in 1918. He is joined by John Hayes (Standard Bearer for the Burma Star Association), Lieutenant Tom Wilks and Colour Sergeant David Green, both of whom were about to lay wreaths. The Old School Centre, which is available for hire.

The Old School Centre in Manor Road is available for hire. This building served as the primary school until the new school was built in 1996 and offers more space than the hall and has a kitchen and toilets. It is managed by the Parish Council rather than by the Village Hall.

If you would like to book the Old School Centre, please contact Sandra on 01271 830139.
