The Community Shield, awarded by Landkey Parish Council in recognition of services provided to the village, has been won by Landkey Lunch Club this year. Village residents who find it difficult to cook meals for themselves are offered a two-course lunch for the sum of £3, with any profits going to St Paul's Church. Here, Mrs Janette Stitt, winner of this award in 2012, presents the shield to June Folland (centre) and Angela Bellamy, both of whom regularly assist with the Lunch Club meals.
