Apple Tree Pruning

Would you like to learn the correct way to prune apple trees?

If you would like to help, please come along to the Green on Saturday 18th February at 9.00 a.m. and meet Michael Gee.

If you can bring along tree loppers or saws that would be great but otherwise just come along and help removing banches.

Venue: Millennium Green

Bird Box renewal/cleaning

10:30 am

The Trustees and volunteers are meeting by the containers on the Green at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday 18th February 2023.

We have ladders but would appreciate donations of bird boxes, either handmade or bought.

More volunteers also welcome to come along, also children, who might like to erect their own bird box for our feathered friends.

Coronation Bank Holiday Celebration Event

12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

MONDAY, MAY 8 th 2023

King Charles III is being crowned on May 6th, and on May 8th we celebrate thevisit of Charles II, as Prince of Wales, to Landkey. (We know mazzard pie is a great favourite of his).

For the full story you’ll need to attend the CORONATION CELEBRATION onLandkey Millennium Green on the Coronation Bank Holiday on 8th May. It will be a great party with stalls, games, treasure hunt, refreshments etc. Note the date, and if you’ve suggestions to help us make a memorable celebration please get in touch. You can reach us on Landkey Facebook page of Landkey Forum as well as through our Secretary, Liz Davis on 813832.

This event is for the community and lots of Landkey organisations have voiced interest in participating on the day. We are in the process of further planning.

More information will be posted in the lead up to the event.
