Each year, the emergence of blossom on the Millennium Green mazzard trees is awaited with interest by people who wish to visit and see this picturesque sight which is associated with the arrival of spring. Michael Gee, who was part of the group which planted the mazzards in Landkey in 1999, gives this update here on the state of the blossom on the Green: "The first mazzard blossom on the Green is opening for St. George's Day. If people want to see it should be really lovely by next weekend."

The newly-installed Bishop of London, The Rt Revd Dame Sarah Mullally, led the Easter Sunday service at St Paul's Church. The service included a rededication of the organ which had been recently returned after being restored. Here, she is being presented with flowers, and a gift from the restorer, held by Eileen MacCaig. Also with her are (l-r), Revd John Ewington, Hazel Price (churchwarden) and Peter Rozzell, Reader.
