From Becky Houghton on 12th February 2014:
Re: the proposed development of 250 houses, please look at the Facebook page which has just been set up so we can share our views. Devonshire Homes have been invited to it so they can gauge the general feeling. https://www.facebook.com/Landkeydevelopment.
From katrina Lang on 10th February 2014:
I attended the meeting today for the proposed new housing development of 200-250 houses at birch road. I did not meet one person from the village who supports this plan. I would like to know if anyone has or is about to start up a action group concerning this hideous proposal. If there is anyone thinking about this please contact me.
From Vicky Bryan on 16th January 2014:
Just wanted to pick up on the parking on Blakes Hill road, and add about the speeding through the village, by a number of cars and motorbikes, usually around 7 am and 5pm, some of these are local people who should know better, I was walking back from the shop and even saw a car overtaking 2 other cars going up the hill, they only just managed to get back in before they reached the parked cars. Whenever the police come and do a speed check it is always in the middle of the day when it is quieter. Is it to take an accident before something is done.
From Diane Ward on 9th January 2014:
I wish to complain about the car's that are parking in Blakes Hill Road.To-day at 12.40pm there were 5 vehicles on the main road, this is just waiting for an accident to happen!
I do think that this situation needs to be address.
